TV Production, part of BBC Broadcast's
Creative Services, recently worked with the LCGC during filming for
a TV promotional campaign for BBC Four. The choir co-ordinator
managed to gather choir members for us at very short notice for a
film shoot on a rather crisp Sunday morning and all of the selected
choir members turned up on time and raring to go, despite having
performed until the early hours the previous night.
We wanted to film some uplifting and
inspiring groups of people and we certainly weren't disappointed…
After only a short rehearsal, the choir picked out one of their
favourite songs and worked out a performance that would suit the
location and our Director's needs. Dressed in their bright uniforms,
they performed fantastically and kept going during all the different
takes.
Everyone on the crew was delighted
with the way the choir performed on the day and the resulting
footage looked and sounded great. The footage that was used as part
of the campaign trail fitted in perfectly with the whole feeling of
the campaign and contributed to a great promotion. Thank you to
