Soul
of Prophecy Gospel Choir & Performers Network was formed in December
2004.
Jay Kamiraz founder and director of this innovation always aspired
to form his own, dynamic choir with a new cutting edge and sound
that is powerful, warm and engaging.
For Many Years Jay Kamiraz and other members of the choir sung and
performed with The London Community Gospel
Choir.
They have performed Nationally and
internationally performing alongside highly acclaimed artists such
as Russell Watson, Carline Anderson, Mica Paris and many others and
has had the honour of performing At The Royal Albert Hall on many
Special occasions one being the official new opening of The Royal
Albert Hall reopened by the Queen herself.
Jay Kamiraz ‘s career grew and people
were asking him to come and sing with a choir, this blessed Jay wit
the idea to form a choir and performers network and hence he decided
to form Souls of Prophecy gospel choir & performers network.
Since being formed Souls of Prophecy have performed in many
high-profiled weddings and been involved in corporate functions as
well as festivals, Charity Events and others, which have been very
successful.
Many Singers & Musicians In Souls of Prophecy have very successful
careers themselves as Artists, Musicians, Musical Theatre & Cabaret
stars who have performed in highly acclaimed West End Musical
Broadway shows. Singers involved are also successful backing
vocalists who have worked with the likes of Celine Dion, Maria
Carey, Will Young and many others. Their loyalty and commitment to
performing with Souls of Prophecy and delivering high standards
makes this group unique.
Director Jay Kamiraz has worked with the likes of Drifters Manager
Fay Treadwell and recorded material with Angelo Starr Edwin Starr’s
brother. As a vocalist he has a huge vocal range and each note he
and his choir sing is one that leaves tingles down your spine. He
has had a lot of success performing on stage shows such as the tour
of the Rat Pack Trio performing as Sammy Davis Junior. He also has
had a lot of success in film and television and this is continuous.
By the end of 2007 the choir will have their own signature choir
robe with that extra edge customised by Jay Kamiraz himself. The
choir also hope to have an album recorded by 2008 for you the client
and for general release and sales.
Our Promise to you is that we will endeavour to turn any song
whether it is an old classic, Motown, Rock or Jazz song and mould it
into a gospel sound with that extra little edge that Jay calls
“The Souls Of Prophecy Edge”
