With playback - either a show performance or something a little more discreet. The backing tracks used are all live recorded original big band arrangements, giving you the feel of having a real band. An hour set or a 2 x 45 minute set are usually performed.

With live band - either a show performance or something a little more discreet. Larger bands, or even just a pianist, are among the options available, but if you were looking for a smaller band you would get a great sound with just a piano, drums, bass and saxophone. An hour, 2 x 45 minute or 3 x 45 minute set is usually performed.

The music of The Rat Pack is timeless and its popularity lives on today. All of the great Rat Pack songs are performed in this truly authentic recreation of the magic of Frank and Dean with some Sammy too. Available as a solo performance or with live band.

The Kevin Fitzsimmons Jazz Swing Band

Delightful dinner-jazz and sizzling swing standards performed by the fabulous vocalist Kevin Fitzsimmons and his band, whose members are award winning session musicians in their own right (see Biography). Perfect for any corporate event, private party or wedding.

Being an entertainer was unavoidable for Kevin as his father was a singer/pianist, his mother a 1950’s model and members of his family have appeared in films along- side Richard Burton, Peter Sellers, Michael Caine and David Niven.

At around the age of five Kevin first discovered `the American song book`, singing Pennies from Heaven accompanied by his father, whose constant renditions of Gershwin, Porter and Berlin were to leave an irreversible impression. By his early twenties, Kevin found himself in the company of and performing with other like minded aficionados. Their profound knowledge and musicianship helped forward his studies. These included American saxophonist Spike Robinson, John Critchinson (piano accompanist with Ronnie Scott), and bass player Lennie Bush, who sessioned with Frank Sinatra on his album ‘Great Songs from Great Britain‘.

Kevin has performed at a huge variety of venues, ranging from world class hotels, corporate events (large and small), jazz clubs, stately homes, TV company, an Airshow and at a premiership football match at Southampton F.C. - previous clients are also as diverse as they are impressive, as shown by his previous clients list. He performed on the 'Jazz Essex Take Two' CD with many high profile musicians and his voice was used by the globally recognized composer Joseph O'Brien for a radio advert in the USA. His band are high profile award winning (UK and USA) session musicians in their own right and have performed with some of the greatest artists of our time including Tony Bennett, Liza Minnelli, Rod Stewart and Elton John. They have appeared on TV programmes such as Top of the Pops, The Big Breakfast, Johnny Vaughan Tonight and in numerous West End Shows including ‘The Rat Pack - Live from Las Vegas’. Celebrities and crowned heads of Europe are among the many who have enjoyed their wonderful talents.

He performs his entertaining jazz/swing sets using a wide repertoire of songs from the Great American Songbook which are tailored perfectly for his greatly varied clientele, and can also be booked to perform a Sinatra, Dean Martin or Rat Pack Show. All of his performances are delivered with bona fide stage presence, bringing red-carpet cool at no extra charge. He performs effortlessly not only the less challenging songs but also the more vocally difficult, whether it be jazz/swing or his other widely respected Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Rat Pack shows.
