The Deepnote Sax Quartet is a highly experienced ensemble with an
extensive repertoire ranging from popular songs and jazz to light
classical music.
The members of the band have performed in prestigious venues
throughout the world from the La Madeleine in Paris to St Mark’s
Basilica in Venice. They have also played at venues throughout the
UK including The Glastonbury Festival and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club
in London. They have entertained high profile Clients and Guests
such as Simon Cowell, Barbara Windsor and Wayne Rooney.
They have appeared on BBC1 and 2, channel 4 and S4C and more
recently there have been performances on ‘The Paul O’Grady show’,
‘The Jonathan Ross Christmas Special 2005’ and on ‘New Years Eve
Show’ live from the Maida Vale Studios in London. They have also
worked alongside or in collaboration with highly regarded artists
such as Jools Holland, Corrine Bailey Rae, Carleen Anderson, Katie
Melua, ‘The New Mastersounds’ and the Official Rat Pack Touring
Band. Their Alto sax player Damian Cook was ‘BBC Big Band Soloist Of
The Year 2004’.
The Deepnote Sax Quartet is the ideal complement to a large variety
of occasions from weddings and garden parties to product launches
and corporate events. The band is completely self-contained, require
no power and can set up within minutes. They will always add a touch
of class and sparkle wherever they play.
