Brazilian and Latin music
Tropicalia’s blossoming
reputation has quickly seen us provide entertainment
throughout the UK.
In London alone, we have played at some of the capital’s most
important hotels such as the Hilton, Intercontinental,
Dorchester and Grosvenor to name but a few. We have also
entertained VIPs at their private parties . Tropicalia has
also performed at the most prestigious and renowned private
club casinos including 50 St. James and the Palm Beach Club in
London as well as putting on productions for the Gala Casino
group throughout the country.
Tropicalia was selected to represent Brazilian music at two of
London’s most exciting and eccentric world music events Grand
Bazaar Festival by Hubble Bubble and Carnival Twist by
Accessallareas. We also appeared at the most famous venue in
South England, the "Pavilion Theatre Ballroom" in Bournemouth.
Our quartet and quintet have been embraced by Jazz aficionados
at the likes of Salsa, Havana, The Crypt, Teatro-Soho Lounge
and Blue Jay Jazz for the quality of their performance and
expansive Latin jazz repertoire.
We have been commissioned by a host of corporate clients to
enliven their events. One of the most unusual venues we were
gratified to perform in was the Natural History Museum, Cafe'
de Paris and Olympia National Hall.
Television appearances include productions for BBC and Channel
4.
