The Poptarts are a five piece party
band who are guaranteed to make your event memorable and enjoyable,
we have been all over the UK providing all styles of music from the
60's, 70's, 80's, 90's right up to the present day. We are based in
Warwickshire and have been operating in and around Warwickshire,
Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire,
Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Cheshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire,
Shropshire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Essex, Cambridgeshire,
Hampshire, Surrey, Kent and London for the past 12 years
specializing as a wedding band, function band, party band also
providing live entertainment, live music for corporate events and
weddings.
The band consists of the following;
Debbie Sebire lead vocals, Roger Barker guitar/vocals, Carl Lewis -
keyboards, Mark Stickley bass/vocals, Tim Brammer -drums/percussion.
The Poptarts have performed at over
one thousand successful events, the diversity of these events saying
a lot about the quality and flexibility of the band. These includes
performing at most of the U.K’s top Universities, for corporate
clients such as; Orange, Alfa Romeo, NEXT, K.P.M.G. and have
entertained at countless successful parties including over 500
weddings and 500 corporate events around the U.K. The band have
performed at prestigious venues including; Ronnie Scott’s, Cardiff
International Arena, Wembley, Hilton Park Lane, the Savoy, Weston
Park, Knebworth park, the ICC, the NEC Metropole, Waddesdon Manor
and recently in Dubai for the Royal family.
This talented band are aged 21 -39,
having youth and experience on their side, with a list of musical
credits including many C.D. releases and working with top
performers, including INXS, STEPS and the PASADENA’S. This gives
them the confidence and ability to play arenas of 50-5000 people
with the same commitment, all of which helps to create one of the
best live music shows available this side of the NEC, executed with
thought, precision and a little humour.
The virtually non-stop show contains a superb collection of the best
PARTY music, featuring beautifully crafted medleys of complete songs
from DISCO, SOUL, DANCE, CHART, MOTOWN and CLASSIC POP, all played
with enthusiasm and style that guarantees a good time.
To create a superb party atmosphere at any event, the band dress
smartly, include plenty of audience involvement by playing totally
LIVE, and play at the most appropriate volume for the occasion
creating an authentic but unique sound to the songs, combining
traditional playing technique with a state of the art approach.
Currently the Poptarts are available with a complete sound and light
show: a controllable and clear P.A., an excellent light show with
stage lighting and intelligent lighting giving unique lighting
shows. Perfect for; Ballrooms, Marquees, Restaurants etc. The band
can now offer a complete evenings musical extravaganza with a
combined disco, which has proved to be incredibly successful.
