Soul'd Up are one of the UK’s premier
Soul based function and party band. We play an unrivalled mix of
Soul, Funk & Disco favourites from the 60s through to the 90s and
are available for hire at corporate functions, private parties,
weddings, pubs, clubs and Universities.
As a 5 piece band with multi-keyboards
and backing vocals, we can provide you with a big Soul sound at a
very affordable price. We are also available for hire with a full
brass section and/or as part of a band and DJ package to play at
functions across the UK. We come complete with PA and light show as
appropriate to the venue and your needs.
The members of Soul’d Up have
collective experience in the music industry totalling more than 50
years, having played at at venues as varied as Camden’s Jazz Café,
Ronnie Scotts and the Grosvenor House Hotel.
Four of the members had played
together in bands in the 90s. They came together to form Soul’d Up
with a common aim of bringing the best Soul party tunes to functions
and parties across the UK.
The line up
Fronting the band is the soulful lead
vocalist Sheila who is backed by the funky foursome- Mark (Drums),
Stefan (Bass), James (Guitar) and Rich (Multi Keyboards), three of
whom also perform backing vocals. Together they make a sound big
enough to fill any venue. They are also available for hire as a 7
piece band with full brass section.
The Hits
Soul’d Up are guaranteed to fill the
dancefloor and provide great nostalgia for real music fans. Their
play list includes Soul favourites spanning four decades including
hits from artists such as Aretha Franklin, Sister Sledge, Jocelyn
Brown, Anastacia and Diana Ross. Take a look at their play list and

The complete
package
Soul’d Up typically play for between
90 and 150 minutes in any combination of sets as required. They can
also provide music on CD for inbetween sets. Alternatively, they can
be hired as part of a band and DJ package. They will provide their
own PA and light show facilities as appropriate to the venue and the
needs of the function. Visually, they can dress in typical 70s gear
(great for themed nights) or more formal attire as required.
