Express is a combination of 2 bands well known in the Country Music
scene: The Alabama Hayriders and Frontier Express hence the name
Alabama Express.
They have between them appeared in many festivals and venues in the
UK and Europe and broadcast on BBC Radio, local and commercial
radio.
The combination of the 2 bands brings you a versatile band that can
cover the full spectrum that is Country Music. From the humour of
“Duelling banjos” to the love sentiment in Shania Twain’s “You’re
the one”, from the Florida influenced “Margaritaville” by Jimmy
Buffet with its images of sandy beaches to the grit of Johnny Cash’s
“Folsom Prison”.
Do you want foot tapping bluegrass or western swing? Ballads from
the hits of Jim Reeves and Johnny Cash or perhaps the modern sound
of Shania Twain and Keith Urban? Then Alabama Express is the band
for you.
We can be part of your Country & Western themed night or just
provide an evening of Country music.
