 The
band has a huge sound, multiple performance options and a repertoire
consisting of all the classic dance floor fillers from the last 6
decades.
The band has an excellent pedigree,
with members coming from West End Shows, top London music schools,
NYJO and performances with some of today’s top big-name artists.
Credits of the musicians include performances with The Blues
Brothers, The Commitments, Odyssey, Rose Royce, Lionel Ritchie,
Alison Moyet, Katie Melua, Jamie Cullum, Charlotte Church & Donny
Osmond, plus West End shows including Les Miserables, Grease, Fame
and The Lion King to name but a few.
The band’s core line-up is based on the outstandingly funky 4-piece
rhythm section (guitar, keys, bass & drums) and can perform in any
formation from a 5-piece band (with one vocalist) to a 10-piece band
with the addition of 2 further vocalists and 3-piece horn section.
The 6-piece band with both male and female lead vocals, along with
the 7-piece band fronted by 3 hugely talented female singers are the
most popular options. The band’s repertoire is arranged so that no
matter which line-up is chosen, the set lists will be full of
classic hits and the dance floor will never be empty!
Unlike most bands, The Amber Lights
also has the option of performing with just their 2 vocalists and
backing tracks for the smaller budget or space-limited event. Fully
live music can’t be beaten but if your budget can’t stretch that far
then the Amber Lights Duo, with 2 of London’s top young vocalists is
great alternative. The performance area required is also much
smaller than most full bands.
