The
harp is a lovely instrument to have at your wedding, creating a
beautiful atmosphere whatever the occasion. Its gentle sounds carry
across a room without intruding into conversation, and a harp can go
where a piano cannot. The harp also blends well with other
instruments, allowing any number of possible musical combinations.
I regularly play background music for public events and weddings.
Previous venues include the Landmark Hotel (for TNG), The Old
Library in the Custard Factory and St Martin's Church in Birmingham.
I play a wide range of celtic music and can also provide Medieval
and Renaissance music from Britain and Europe.
A harp is a great addition as a part
of your Civil or Religious Ceremony, background music to accompany
your wedding banquet or drinks reception.
Civil Ceremony / Church Ceremony:
· 20 - 30 minutes of music while the
guests arrive
· Processional piece as the Bride
enters
· Signing of the Registers
· 10 - 15 minutes as the guests leave
the church.
The Bride and Groom normally choose
the music for the Bride's Processional and during the Signing of the
Registers. Please let us know if you have a special piece of music
you would like to hear during these moments.
