 The Odyssey
String Quartet was formed in the spring of 1995. The
players, although London based are willing to travel to venues all
over the world.
Dedicated to
making every occasion into something very special. The players all
trained at the royal Academy of Music.
They have
worked with many of the country's leading chamber musicians,
including Emmanuel Hurwitz, Raphael Wallfisch, Michael Hurwitz,
Siegmund Nissel, Stephen Tees and Jan Schlapp. They have also
received coaching from the Maggini, Alberni, Endellion, Aeolian and
Chilingirian Quartets.
They have
provided music for a host of satisfied clients at weddings,
anniversary celebrations and a variety of charity, corporate and
private functions. Their repertoire ranges from light classical
music to popular favourites and can include arrangements of popular
wedding music with trumpet.
The Quartet is
happy to consider extending its requirements to meet the specific
requirements of any particular event. This versatility enables them
to accommodate the wishes of the individual client, bringing a level
of care, professionalism and joie de
vivre that is sure to delight.
