Ted
Prior is an Associate Member of the National Association of
Toastmasters and is available for functions throughout, London, the
South East, the U.K. and International Events.
During his career in the International Moving Industry he has
attended many National and International Conventions from Dublin to
Durban, Sydney to Stratford-upon-Avon very often being called upon
to speak or moderate. Retiring as Managing Director in December
2004. With a strong commercial background and a keen interest in the
art of presenting and writing, he is able to utilise these skills
when presenting meetings or being your Toastmaster.
Throughout his life, Ted has taken a
keen interest in the theatre, writing, performing and directing
plays and sketches. In his career he has travelled extensively and
attended many conventions, gala dinners and banquets throughout the
world. On occasions he has been a guest speaker, moderator,
presenter and performer.
Customer Service and satisfaction has
played a pivotal role in his career dealing with young families,
moving abroad for the first time, to Senior Executives of National
and Multi-National corporations as they are relocated.
Having trained with the National
Association of Toastmasters, his business experience and love of
theatre enables Ted to bring all these skills to work for you as a
Toastmaster, Master of Ceremonies, Compere or Speaker. Already, he
has officiated at Dinner Dances, a Spring Gala Ball for Barnardos
and Weddings. Ted will bring a calm, friendly and humorous touch
whilst maintaining a guiding hand to ensure the success of your
event whether in the UK or Overseas.
Should you wish, your Toastmaster will
be able to help you plan your special day by providing helpful
advice and information gained from the experience of attending many
Weddings. On the day the he will provide a dignified authority
discharged with an appropriate sense of humour enabling the Bride
and Bridegroom, as well parents, to relax and enjoy themselves in
the knowledge that all arrangements are being well managed.
