Lyla D'souza
Lyla has been performing across the UK, Europe and Australasia for the past twelve years.

Working with the producers such as Mike Rowe (Rolling Stones, Oasis, Sheryl Crow), Clive Lendich (Boys II Men, Jermaine Jackson), Tim Dudfield (Ce Ce Peniston), Greystoke Productions (Elton John, Lemar) she has gained publishing credits with Sony BMG, Zomba Music and Ministry of Sound.

Lyla is vocalist for a number of top UK corporate and original bands performing for the likes of Shirley Bassey, Mick Jagger, Tony Hadley, Kylie Minogue, Malcolm McClaren, Plymouth Music Festival, Mainz Music Festival (Germany), Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and at venues including the Jazz Café, Sydney Opera House, Hotel de Paris (Monaco), and The Royal Ascot.

Sound Limiters?

Many venues that Groovejet perform at are now installed with sound limiters and we’re happy to perform in these venues and can comply with the dB rating for the venue.

We are also very pleased to announce that Darren Bazzoni is endorsed by Roland musical instruments and has a Roland V-Drum kit, which allows us to be able to handle any venue with any sound limiter setting.

We can now actually turn the drums up or down, this also allows us to recreate the correct drum sounds as used on original tracks, be it a 60's drum kit, Wembley rock kit, Jazz kits and much more. Darren says this is the perfect solution for the client allowing the music to be produced to the highest level.

Just a line to let you know how thrilled we were with Groovejet who played at our wedding on Saturday. They were fantastic!!!!

Wow, what a vocalist. Everyone commented on what a great band they were and they played a fantastic range of songs that got everyone up and dancing.

Following a search for a quality band for our wedding we booked Groovejet.

After hearing Groovejet we believed they should be good but nothing could have prepaid us for the great evening they delivered.

The band not only learnt our "First Dance" song and performed it perfectly they also proved to be the perfect band for a great wedding party. They involved the guests in singing songs such as Mustang Sally and ensured that the dance floor was always full. Every single guest has commented on how fantastic the band was and that they made the night.

Groovejet - absolutely marvellous!! So many people have said that they have never been to a wedding where the dance floor has been packed - from the first dance to the last!! So much variety and it was just so amazing!! I know we didn't stop dancing all night !!

We also appreciated the band letting people take over - Stuart on the drums, followed by my Dad and Andrew's best man Jason singing. It really was appreciated - my Dad had been learning to play the drums for over 4 years now and that was his first time in front of an audience - he loved it!!
