How to Book
Charm Music Booking is as easy as A,B,C,
A. Choose/Search from the entertainment on the left.
B. Find an act you like and click on the "View full profile" for biogs, audio/video clips, song lists & testimonials.
C. Contact us via email or call 0870 0136 660 for availability and price.
All you need to do is decide if the act is right for your event. If your not sure we can help you in on all aspects of the booking call us for advice and suggestions.
If you want to book an act call Sue on 0870 0136 660 or or e-mail : sue@charm-music.co.uk and we will then confirm their availability and then discuss the relevant information we need for the contract - times, venue, etc.
If you want more information about the act before you book call or email us with the extra information you would like to find out about your chosen act or fill in the online form on the contact us page and add your questions in the additional information field of the form.
Can I see the band live before I book?
Acts that have video of their performances have been included in their profile page but we fully understand that you would want to see your chosen act perform live before you book. We can find out from the act if they have any public performances close to you and we will let you know the best place to see them, but if its in a pub enviroment the act may do a different set (normally a little louder) than in a wedding reception, so please bear this in mind when you do get to see them live.
Contracts
Once the booking is confirmed via email, Charm Music will draw up a contract between you and the act, which will be sent to you to sign both copies first and returned with the deposit and the contract is then sent to the act for signing, once both contracts have been returned to the agency, we make a copy of the contract and issue the originals to both parties so that there is no discrepancies on the day. Our contract is written in plain english and easy to understand. (Anything your not sure of, call us we're always ready to help)
Deposit
When you return your signed contract, we will require a 15% +VAT deposit which is non-returnable and the remaining balance will be due inaccordance with the contract payment terms agreed.
Payment can be made by cheque or BACS transfer (please call for details). Where payment is agreed to be paid in full 7 days before the event the full balance is held by the agency until the fullfilment of the contract at which time after satisfactory completion of the engagement the funds are released to the act.
After booking
Once the contracts have been signed by both parties, we believe that a large part of our service has been completed, although we are always only a phone call away if needed.
If you feel there as been any changes to the signed contract that Charm Music and/or the acts should be aware of, please contact us immeadiately, so we can inform the artist of any changes.
We also supply you with full details of how to contact your chosen act so that you can discuss directly the finer details of your event and for you to feel at ease with your act.
Terms of Business
The conduct of all entertainment agencies comes under the Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. Under these regulations, Charm Music Agency operates as an “employment agency” having been given authority to act on this basis on behalf of the acts we promote. The information above constitutes our terms of business which will apply if you - the Hirer - book an act.
