Emily began studying in 2013 at the Royal College of Music under Alistair Mackie and is a Karina Choudhrie Scholar supported by a Douglas and Hilda Simmonds Award. She has been playing professionally for a number of years and playing at weddings for even longer.

At the age of 16 she was awarded a music scholarship to study at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset, where she took up playing the trumpet. Having had a very successful two years at Wells Cathedral School, completing the DipABRSM, Emily earned scholarships at the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Welsh College of Music.

Emily's solo wedding repertoire consists of;
Ave Maria, Te Deum Prelude, The Prince of Denmark’s March, Bridal March, Trumpet Tune, Trumpet Voluntary, Sonata for Trumpet and strings, Trumpet Voluntary, Amazing Grace, Chanson de Matin, Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, Salut d’Amour and many more.
Emily is able to learn anything on request, but this may adjust the fee depending on the requirements.
