The Runaways were formed in 1982 and two of those members are still with the original line up. (Ivan and Gary ‘GB’)

The guys have worked alongside famous names in the world of entertainment and as the backing band to original singing stars of the late fifties and sixties.

They have also been special guests on BBC Radio and have made appearances on London Weekend Television and Sky TV and various interviews with radio stations.

They constantly work to produce the highest quality sound and pay attention to the visual aspects of their performances ‘The Walks!’ and are always immaculate in their suits and are memorable for their striking bright red guitars and cheeky chat!

Although they have worked with members of The Shadows and are renowned for the authenticity of their production of Shadows' numbers, The Runningdogs are far more than a Shadows tribute band.

With the vast experience and individual talents of each member and their extensive repertoire of vocal and instrumentally played vocal numbers The Runningdogs produce a performance tailored to each show.

They recently linked up with Simon Goodall – Sounds like Cliff – to recreate on stage those early days of Cliff Richard and The Shadows and now ventured on their own once again and in the process of producing a new album with vocal and instrumental tracks. The guys produced ‘Into the Vortex’ in 2006 which is sold at the venues (where applicable) the tracks supplied will be from that album.
