With a voice and classic writing style reminiscent of torch singers past, Kareña can belt out those blues or sizzle with smoky jazz vocals.

Hailing from the north of England originally, Kareña came up through the big band scene there before embarking on what became an international music career that has taken her far and wide, including an appearance at Dubai Rock/Blues Festival with her blues band Nightcalls.

Now settled back in the UK she is currently working on several recording projects and touring with her new line up.

Runner up in the British Blues Awards Instrumentalist category in 2016

Hospitality/Artist Rider: Soft drinks and water plus a hot meal on arrival depending on set up requirements. A secure changing area with reasonable lighting and a mirror.

Technical Requirement: If we are providing P.A we would require a minimum of three sensibly located sockets in the stage area, preferable on an isolated circuit with separate breaker. We prefer not to work in venues with DB meters that operate cut off switches. We consider these on a case by case basis but must be advised of this before booking.

If the venue is providing P.A, sound engineer and backline, for the 5 piece we would need two guitar amps, one bass amp, 3 vocal mics and one sax mic, all on boom stands, for the trio one vocal and one sax mic, guitar and bass amp.
